Do you know how many times a week I walk into the acupuncture room to find a patient has already made themselves comfortable on the table?

It happens a lot.

Our treatment rooms are a space where people can literally and figuratively lay down their worries, rest deeply and recharge.

Plantar fascitis.

If you have it, you know it!

Inflammation of the fascia in the sole of the foot can make EVERY. SINGLE. STEP. extremely painful.

It's so common to see this pain pattern in the spring. We take off those big clunky boots and are anxious to slip on spring footwear.... but beware! The cold ground and lack of support from flip flops and slip ons can lead to this painful problem.

Our bodies are incredible. There is so much focus on this transformation while growing a baby for 10 months but what about the transformation after giving birth?!

My trifecta this week.

1. Prenatal- In combination with a balanced diet, postpartum momma's still need all the essential vitamins and minerals that a prenatal offers.
2. Vitamin D- Cause March in upstate NY! Seriously though, vitamin D is essential for our immune health and overall well being. Im loving this liquid dropper from Douglas Labs... No flavors or additives, just a high dose of the good stuff.
3. Ashwagandha- Time change+teething baby= yikes! Ashwagandha can be so helpful with navigating this extra mental and physical stress.

Acupuncture in combo with this supplement routine is critical during the time change and the change in season.
