Backbends don’t have to feel scary or rushed. This 90-minute workshop is an invitation to slow down, feel supported, and explore heart-opening postures with confidence and care.
Sarah brings 10 years of teaching experience—and a deeply personal journey with backbends—to guide you through a thoughtful, accessible practice. Once unable to access backbends due to low-back disc herniations, she’s passionate about helping students build strength, trust, and awareness without forcing the body.
Together, you’ll explore:

🧘♀️ Bridge (Setu Bandha Sarvangasana)
🧘♀️ Wheel (Urdhva Dhanurasana)
Expect a supportive warm-up, mindful cueing, hands-on assists, and the use of props to help you safely enter, exit, and stabilize in each posture—while learning to truly listen to your body.
