Hometown: Geneva, IL 📍

Medical school: Kansas City University

Hobbies: spending time with my dogs, thrifting, baking, jogging 🐶🍪👟

Fun fact: I have Type 1 diabetes! 💉

Current obsession: Bien Trucha in downtown Geneva 🌮

Why you chose Delnor: I did a sub-internship during med school at Delnor and was blown away by how kind, supportive, and close-knit the residents/faculty were! Geneva is also my hometown so being close to family is a huge plus! 💜🤍

Caring for our community, one patient at a time. Our residents volunteer at Tri-Cities Health Partnership, where patients without insurance can receive primary care at no cost. With the support of volunteer nurses and physicians, an in-house pharmacy, and a social worker, the clinic is a true team effort.

Good medicine doesn’t stop at the exam room—it starts with access for everyone.

Last Thursday’s didactics ended in an event to be remembered. Our residents worked within their clinic teams to combine the four essential elements: water, wood, hot glue, and… pizza(?) 🤔 to build bridges that would need to withstand added weight. 🌉

However, our residents built such sturdy bridges that we ran out of weight to add to them. While none of the bridges came falling down, there was one that showed no sign of weakness even under the ultimate pressure. Congratulations, Team Spring🌷! & Thank you to Wellness Committee for sponsoring some friendly competition 🤝

Our story

Thank you for visiting the Northwestern McGaw Family Medicine Residency at Delnor! The Delnor Family Medicine Residency is Northwestern McGaw’s third family medicine residency, and it was founded on a tradition of academic success. Our program is housed at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, Illinois, a US News and World Report regionally ranked hospital that houses more than 600 physicians in 80 specialties. It is our mission as a premier integrated academic health system to combine the scholarship of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine with the strength of the family medicine community at Delnor to create an educational environment of excellence.
