Recently at GreenFields, we had the pleasure of hearing from two incredibly talented residents!

Barb shared her dissertation on one-room schoolhouses in Kane County, sparking wonderful conversations and memories as residents reminisced and told their own stories.

Chuck also gave us a glimpse into his creative process, explaining how his artwork comes to life. His beautiful paintings of historic homes from Geneva, St. Charles, Batavia, and beyond can be seen throughout our hallways and dining rooms.

We are so lucky to have such inspiring individuals in our community!

When Lynda shared a poem about gardening with Bruce, he was inspired to put it to music—and now their creative collaboration is brightening the community (and plenty of days!) with poetry, piano, and a little garden-inspired charm.
