Up late and in pain? You're not alone.
Did you know that chronic pain rarely has a single cause?
More often, it's the result of a chain — one thing leading to another, over months or years, until the body finally runs out of ways to compensate.
Here's a pattern we see regularly:
➡ It starts with a weak or poorly activating core. The deep stabilizing muscles aren't doing their job, so the spine absorbs more stress than it should with every step, every lift, every hour at a desk.
➡ That excess stress accelerates disc changes. Discs begin to lose hydration and resilience. They may begin to bulge or degenerate faster than they otherwise would.
➡ As the disc changes, the surrounding joints — facets, ligaments, the structures that hold the vertebrae together — start to bear more load than they were designed for. Over time, that leads to stiffness, arthritis-like changes, and the kind of chronic, low-grade pain that people often accept as "just part of getting older."
The good news is this is NOT inevitable. It's a process... and processes can be interrupted.
That's exactly what we address with The Hart Method. Not just the pain you're feeling tonight, but the pattern underneath it.
If you've been dealing with persistent pain and haven't been able to get to the bottom of it, this is worth exploring.
