Tips for conflict resolution for this week's :

If you can find one small point of agreement about a situation, you may build from that. Sometimes the starting point is to agree that a problem exists. Although you may want to quickly follow that thought with a judgment that someone else caused the problem, you can diffuse the situation faster if your next step is to acknowledge any responsibility you had in creating or continuing the problem. This sets the stage for open communication with a cooperative approach towards problem-solving.
