I wanted to take a moment and talk about the donations for Casa Mia Cookies.
Your donation doesn’t go to support Casa Mia Cookies. It doesn’t buy the ingredients, the boxes, or the packaging your cookie came in. It all goes directly to consumers. We have built the program to be able to run without donations, ensuring that consumers are directly impacted by your contribution.
They choose how the money is spent, through monthly meetings they lead. They are in control and choose to help new arrivals who come with nothing, do extra activities, and discuss other ideas. So when we say donations go directly to consumers we mean it!
