✨ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ✨

To our amazing clients, followers, neighbors & friends. 3 years ago we started LIV & leaf with a passion and a purpose. We wanted to not only help introduce live greenery into your homes, but also prove that everyone can have a green thumb. You just need to know the right plant for your space and how to care for them. We know we helped so many of you feel confident & proud in your plant parenthood journeys and that makes our hearts soar!

Walking away from our business while at it's peak is so gratifying, but incredibly difficult too! We truly considered what it would take to get LIV & leaf to the next level because we were so in love with how special and meaningful LIV is to us. However growing more, the way WE WANT TO, will take the one thing we just cannot possibly give any more of. Time & ourselves. We have missed so much already and cannot miss anymore time with our families.

We have not slowed or waivered in our business model, beliefs or mission. Anyone can be a churn & burn business, but that is not us. We wanted to always keep it local as best as we could, special, and keep our relationships with our clients design needs personal. It's what set us apart.

Our quarterly subscription LIV Local has been sold out since it's inception and what an honor it has been. Our very last one this July supports 4 more local artists and makers who we are blessed to call friends. Stay tuned for that! If you are currently working on a project with us we will happily be fulfilling those with you as scheduled. I (Heather) will still be making several stops to Greenhouse so let me know what's on your wishlist!

Plant nook at and will have plants thru July 1st so still shop there for your giftable plant needs!

🎵 Join me in wishing a Happy, Happy Birthday to this amazing lady right here. Amy, you're a true, honest & wonderful person. You see the good in people, always. Full heart, warrior spirit, and an amazing friend. There is no one I would rather go to Olive Garden at 5:30 on a Saturday and split a bottle of wine with. 🤣🍷🥂 Starting & running LIV & leaf with you these past 3 years has been an absolute joy. Who said you shouldn't start a business with a friend?! Here's to many more trips around the sun. Love you!

"Hey there! My name is Meagan Walker, and I am the Owner/Head Sugar Slinger of Shuggie Shack Sweets and Treats located in Pflugerville, Texas. I started this business in 2020 with my daughter Trystyn (then 9 years old, now 12) in our then small town of Moultrie, GA. Baking with my girl has always been a fun way for us to be creative together while doing something we were both passionate about, which is why I named the business after her, my little Shuggie! In 2021, our family moved back to Texas, and I have spent the last 2.5 years growing my clientele serving the greater North Austin area. My business specializes in custom sugar cookies for all occasions, big and small, and I truly love collaborating with each customer to bring their ideas for their special event to life. I work with all budgets to create beautiful and tasty treats that help create memories, celebrate accomplishments, and bring smiles to the faces of those who get to enjoy them. I also offer private cookie decorating classes for groups of 6 or more persons. I would be honored to help make your next event extra "sweet"!"

Meet Clarissa, the owner and maker of Sunny & Shady Designs, right here in ATX!

"I was born and raised in West Texas, but my heart always knew I’d end up in Austin. After I graduated from Texas State, I started working in tech and soon realized that wasn’t the place for me! I needed a creative outlet, so I started making cement planters during the summer of 2021.

I enjoy the creative freedom I have from getting to choose colors I love and experimenting with new pouring techniques. Each planter is one-of-a-kind and hand-poured, sanded, drilled, stamped, and
sealed from my tiny home studio! I started doing pop-ups and other local artisan and plant markets around central texas, and with that, I finally made the leap.

in May of 2023, I left the corporate world to be a full-time artist. When I’m not in my home studio, I’m spending time with my boyfriend, my dogs, bearded dragon, and chickens."

Our famous Succulent Bar is making a return after a 2 year hiatus. Perfect sized treats for the sweethearts, teachers & loved ones in your life. We will also have larger sized goodies to pot up! Choose your plant, choose your vessel, and get "dirty" 😘

We will also have a few locally made planters by & .by.doc on hand as well as a few small sized, curated houseplant cuties.
