GivingTuesday is December 2nd! What is GivingTuesday? Simply put, it's a global movement that encourages people to do good and give generously - whether that's time, money, or spreading the word about something you believe in.
We're obviously passionate about eliminating barriers to mental health care and we hope that you'll join us in that mission on December 2nd. This year, we're once again participating in the Greater Taylor Foundation's Give Taylor initiative, which encourages people to donate to their favorite nonprofits within the Taylor community. All donations are safe, tax-deductible, and will go directly to the nonprofit of your choosing.
Stay tuned for more information about how you can participate and mark your calendars! The countdown to GivingTuesday has begun!

It's National Cat Day! Did you know that owning a cat is a great way to support your mental health? Cats have been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and loneliness, and improve mindfulness, social connections, sleep quality, and emotional regulation. Feel free to share a picture of your furry friends in the comments so we can show them our appreciation!

On this World Mental Health Day, let’s work to create a world where mental health is valued, protected, and accessible for all, especially in the face of adversity. Today, we highlight the importance of mental healthcare, especially in humanitarian emergencies where 1 in 5 people struggle with mental health conditions.
It’s essential for everyone, including government officials, health and social care providers, school staff and community groups to come together. By working hand in hand, we can ensure the most vulnerable have access to the support they need.

About Us:
Intervention Services (IS) is a professional mental health counseling agency that provides individual, group, and family therapy to students, families, schools, and communities. Intervention Services, formerly a program of Jervey and Associates Psychotherapy, has provided quality mental health services to schools and communities over the past 25 years. All of our program therapists practice using evidence-based therapies and are trained to be trauma-informed in their work with clients. We view each client as unique and our therapists work to tailor their services to fit the individual client or family goals. We strive to provide our therapy and consultation services with both compassion and integrity.
Intervention Services believes that each person deserves the chance to lead a healthy and fulfilling life. At times life can become overwhelming and confusing which can impair our ability to function in our daily lives. Whether you are dealing with a recent struggle or a situation that has been ongoing for some time–the staff at Intervention Services will work to help you regain hope by offering guidance, support and facilitating your road to healing.
