Adrienne Alexandria Lambert, 33, passed away May 9, 2024.

Born September 13, 1990 in Georgetown, she was a daughter of Tiffany Lambert Parsons.

Adrienne was a sweet and loving soul. She had a great bubbly silly personality and loved to sing. She was always full of surprises and loved helping people and volunteering her time helping her Aunt Crystal donating to the homeless and building blessing boxes in the local area. Adrienne also wanted to be an organ donor. Despite Adrienne’s struggles in life she died a hero by saving 7 lives through organ donation.

Surviving in addition to her mother are four children, Railyn Taylor, Hayleigh Taylor, John Taylor III, and Carter Taylor; one sister, Breanna Lambert; grandparents Jerrie Lambert, Otto and Emily Wright; two Aunts , Crystal Thomas Cooper and Denise Wright Fenters ; two uncles, Keith Lambert and Lance Lambert; a nephew, Grayson Greenwood. She also shared a special bond with Clarence “Redtop” Thomas throughout the years.

William Ronald “Billy” Cameron, 82, husband of Linda Ray Cameron, passed away May 25, 2024 in his home.

The Cameron family will receive friends 6-8pm Tuesday May 28, 2024 at Ringel Heights Baptist Church. Mr. Cameron’s service will be held 11am Wednesday, May 29, 2024 in the sanctuary of Ringel Heights Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Good Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Born April 16, 1942 in Georgetown County, he was a son of the late William Jessie Cameron and the late Annie Goude Cameron. Mr. Cameron was a member of Ringel Heights Baptist church and an avid hunter and fisherman. He retired from Georgetown Steel after 32 years of service. Mr. Cameron enjoyed cars, but more especially, his corvette, jeep and old black truck.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of 62 years are one daughter, Letitia Cameron Yates and her husband Mike of Georgetown; three grandchildren, Lauren Yates of Surfside, Lindsay Cameron of Greer, and Cameron Yates of Georgetown; three brothers, Terry Cameron and his wife Dorothy of Georgetown, Charles Cameron of Pawleys Island, Michael Cameron and his wife Diane of Murrells Inlet; and a number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cameron was predeceased by a son, Craig Cameron; a brother, Paul Cameron; a nephew, Gregg Cameron; a sister in law, Felicia Cameron; father in law David W. Ray and mother in law Zulean Springs Ray.

George Calvin Wilson III, 86, husband of Patricia Klein Wilson, passed away Tuesday April 30, 2024 in his home.

A funeral, with military honors, will be held at 10:00am Friday May 3, 2024 in the chapel of Graham Funeral Home. Internment will take place at 1:00pm in Florence National Cemetery following the chapel service.

Born April 07, 1938 in Wheeling, West Virginia, he was a son of the late George Calvin Wilson, Jr. and the late Alice Jane Sanders Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a United States Army Veteran in Special Forces Military Intelligence. He was a member of NewLife Church, a retired postal worker, and enjoyed playing golf and participating in dog shows.

Surviving, including his wife of 46 years are his children, Cathy M. Long, her husband John, Jennifer J. Sholl, Lisa Debski and her husband Bob, Angel Lusk and her husband Steve; grandchildren Danielle C. Long, Nicole L. Vislay and her husband Mike, Andrea M. Miller and her husband Luke, Mary E. Sholl, Nathan J. Sholl, Jonathan Debski and his wife Charise, Julianna Jackson and her husband Paul, Zoey Debski, Noah Debski, Gelia Debski, Braelin Debski, Marcus Lusk, Tyler Lusk, Alisha Lusk, and Rachel McClellan and her husband Kevin; one great-grandson, Brandon M. Vislay; two sisters, Letitia M. Murphy, Alice L. Bragdon and her husband David; one brother, Peter F. Wilson and his wife Judy.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, George Andrew Wilson and a daughter-in-law, Marcia Wilson.

Douglas Corbett Britt, Sr., 73, passed away April 22, 2024 in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Britt’s family will receive friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm Thursday April 25, 2024 in the sanctuary of Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Britt’s funeral service will be held 2:00pm Friday April 26, 2024 in the church. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

Born July 29, 1950 in Georgetown he was a son of the late Lawrence Joseph Britt, Sr. and the late Carrie Johnson Britt. He was a 1968 graduate of Winyah High School and a retired crane operator with Georgetown Steel. Mr. Britt was an active member in Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church and was member of the men’s fellowship as well as being a teacher for many years in the Royal Rangers Boys Club. He was a former member of Winyah Bass Masters and spent many years coaching his children in sports. Mr. Britt’s most cherished time was spent with his family and friends fellowshipping over a good meal.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of 52 years, Beverly Britt are two sons, Douglas Corbett Britt, Jr. and his wife Joanie of Lambertown, Timothy W. Britt and his wife Hollie of Lambertown; a daughter, Stacie Amanda Owens and her husband Cory of Hemmingway; seven grandchildren, Alyssa Britt, Johnny Britt, Drew Britt and his wife Katlyn, Grainger Britt, Abbey Britt, Macy Owens, and Aiden Owens; one brother Lawrence Joseph “Larry” Britt, Jr and Tommie Barnhill; and a number of extended family and friends.

Ralph Eugene Howell, husband of Beatrice Oneta Moore Howell, passed away April 13, 2024 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital

Mr. Howell’s family will receive friends Sunday April 21, 2024 in the parlor of Graham Funeral Home from 2:00-3:00pm. A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm in the chapel of Graham Funeral Home with burial following in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

Born in Conway April 9, 1944, he was a son of the late Freeman Gordon Howell and the late Thelma Viola Prince Howell. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Ringel Heights Baptist Church. Mr. Howell worked many jobs over his lifetime in order to provide for his family that he dearly loved. He worked as an insulator for several years before working at Georgetown Steel. He enjoyed spending time with his family taking vacations and riding his Husqvarna zero turn mower and watching classic westerns. In his leisure time, he enjoyed classic cars and was a member of Winyah Cruisers club. His restorations of classic cars were legendary and won him many competitions. Mr. Howell excelled in custom paint and chrome work. His last car, a 1985 Choo Choo El Camino was his favorite. To his loving family, he was simply a legend.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of sixty years are two daughters, Regina Howell Scott and her husband Ken of Georgetown, Rhonda Howell Howard and her husband Andy of Georgetown; one granddaughter, Alexis Dianna Scott; one great-granddaughter, Aleeah Makenzie Scott; and a number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell Jackie Howell, Clifton Huey Rogers; three grandchildren, Jennifer Annette Yarborough, Shawn Michael Howell-Scott, and Dillon Chance Howell-Scott.

Pearl Skipper Jones, widow of LC Jones, Sr., passed away Friday April 12, 2024 in her home, surrounded by her family.

Born April 27, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Sam Page Skipper and the late Sarah Vialo Hardee Skipper. She loved going to church and attended both Grace Temple and Christian Fortress. When her health began to fail and she could no longer attend church in person, church came to her. Her family and friends would come to her and have their own private worship. Mrs. Jones was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She will always be remembered as a humble woman that loved and cared for her family. She enjoyed flowers and sitting on her porch, enjoying her many grandchildren.

Surviving are, one daughter, Judy Cribb and her husband Tom, of Georgetown, one son, LC Jones, Jr., of Georgetown; twelve grandchildren, Earl Jones (Crystal) of Georgetown, Billy Jones of Georgetown, Timbo Jones (Nichole) of Georgetown, Michelle Jones (Brandon Lambert) of Georgetown, Candace Hamer of Murrells Inlet, Doris Barrineau (Charlie) of Georgetown, Jamie Taylor (Jessie) of Georgetown, Adam Cribb (Joanie) of Georgetown, David Tompkins (Ariel) of Georgetown, Jennifer Easler (Carl) of Andrews, David Hanna (Kassie) of Andrews, Annie Newton of Lambertown; thirty one great-grand children and seven great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Keefer (Douglas) of Myrtle Beach; special friends that she loved like her children, Wanda Hammond and Wayne Hanna; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five of her children; Bud Jones, Donnie Jones, Billy Jones, Barbara Hanna, and Linda Gayle Tompkins, seven sisters, and 2 brothers.

A funeral service will be held 4:00pm Thursday April 18, 2024 in the sanctuary of Christian Fortress. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 3:00-4:00pm. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens

Mr. Jack Lee Potter, 76, widower of Paula Kay Dorris Potter, passed away April 2, 2024 in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born August 5, 1947 in Muscatine Iowa, he was a son of the late Richard Lee Potter and the late Emma Lou Ackman Potter. Mr. Potter was a United States Army Veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. He retired as a Captain after many years of faithful service. Mr. Potter was a lifetime member of the NRA and the VFW. He was a former member of both the Police and Fire Departments in Guthrie Kentucky. Mr. Potter retired as an owner of a plumbing contracting business. During his retirement, he enjoyed motorcycle riding, and traveling around the country.

Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Lynn Service of Erwin North Carolina, Lucretia Dawn Rowberry and her spouse Steve of Trenton Kentucky; two grandchildren, Lindsey Campbell and her spouse Will of Benson, North Carolina, Rikki Service and her spouse Amy of Erwin North Carolina; two great-grandchildren, Molly and Connor Campbell; and a number of extended family and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Potter.

Louis Alan Ray “Booger”, husband of Hilda Walters Ray, 61, passed away Thursday April 4 2024.

Mr. Ray’s family will receive friends Monday April 8, 2024 from 5:00-7:00pm in Graham Funeral Home. Funeral services will be private.

Born in Sumter December 15, 1962, he was a son of the late William Elbert Ray and the late Elizabeth Ann Tompkins Ray. Mr. Ray enjoyed fishing, sh*****ng, cooking, gardening, woodworking, and playing pool. He held many jobs over the span of his life including mechanic, carpenter, cabinet maker, pipefitter, and auto body technician. However, according to his loving family, he was best at being “The Supervisor”.

Mr. Ray is survived by his wife of 39 years; two children, Brandi Wynn and her husband Nickolas of Georgetown, Ivy Ray of Tumwater, Washington; two sisters, Julia Flegel of Georgetown, Sheila Locklair and her husband Johnny of Georgetown; two brothers, Shakey Madden and his wife Cherrie of Maggie Valley, North Carolina, Arnie Barnes and his wife Kristie of Fort Worth, Texas; one granddaughter, Adalyn Wynn; a sister in-law, Annette Owens and her husband Ronnie; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews. Mr. Ray also considered himself very fortunate to have had two extra sets of bonus parents David and Christine Young and Arnie Barnes, Sr. and Patricia Barns.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, William Elbert Ray, Jr. “Billy”, Joey Del Ray, and Gary Dewaine Ray.

In lieu of flowers, the family will accept memorial donations to help with final expenses.

Robert Anthony “Tony” Green, 46, passed away March 15, 2024.

A funeral service will be held 1:00pm Saturday March 23, 2024 in the Chapel of Graham Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday March 22, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm in Graham Funeral Home.

Born May 22, 1977 in Georgetown, he was a son of Hugh Purvis Green and Kathryn Todd Green. Mr. Green was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was a very family-oriented man that enjoyed working on cars. In his leisure time, he could be found playing pool or in the outdoors hunting and fishing.

Surviving, in addition to his parents are four children, Katalina Green, Payton Green, Thomas Green, and Emma Green, all of Hinesville Georgia; one sister, Kelly Duvall and her husband Steve, of Andrews; one step grandfather, Robert Thorp of Odessa Missouri; and a number of extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by a brother, Hugh Thomas “Tommy” Green; grandmothers Kathleen Sparks Thorp and Bertha Wise Green; and grandfathers Shepard Purvis Green and Thomas Todd.

Gary Dennis Creson, 65, widower of Catherine Smith Creson, passed away on March 8, 2024 at MUSC in Charleston, South Carolina.

A memorial service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, March 16, 2024 in the sanctuary of Lakewood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00pm.

Mr. Creson was born October 18, 1958 in McDowell County North Carolina, a son of the late Edward and Irene Creson. He was a graduate of McDowell High School and received a Bachelor’s degree from Mars Hill University. Mr. Creson was a dedicated member of Lakewood Baptist Church. He retired from Georgetown County Water and Sewer after many years of faithful service. In his leisure he enjoyed being out in nature kayaking, taking pictures of wildlife, and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are: one son, Jason along with his wife Carly Creson and their two children Carson and Baylor of Andrews; one daughter Ashley and her husband Burns Windley and their four children Rhyley, Will, Rhaegan, and Schyler of Lexington; two sisters, Pat Pitman and her husband Harold of Granite Falls, North Carolina, and Faye Gimbert of Hickory, North Carolina; one brother, Wayne Creson of Piqua, Ohio; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Brooks Windley.
