May is Mental Health Awareness Month! 988 is such a great thing that has been implemented. Instead of calling 911 for crisis and if someone is having mental health issues, homeless and need housing options, suicidal, or homicidal you can Call or Text 988. They having different options with its directory if you need specific kind of help. There are counselors available 24/7, whether you are in a crisis or just needing someone to talk too. I had the pleasure during the ACA conference 2024 in New Orleans to get to hear SAMHSA’s great presentation about these resources and amazing things they are doing to help a lot of people needing help with their mental health 💚💚💚
