❄️Snowball Pong, anyone⁉️
I guess you could say that these hot Summer days have us longing for some cooler weather perhaps😂❓

Our Assisted Living & Memory Care residents had a blast playing a fun winter twist on a classic game — Snowball❄️Pong! Using large cotton “snowballs,” they aimed for red solo cups with determination, laughter, &plenty of cheering from theur friends!

This lighthearted game isn’t just fun — it’s fantastic for promoting hand-eye coordination, focus, upper body movement & even a little friendly competition! Mentally, it keeps our minds sharp&engaged… and physically, it gets us moving in the best way.

Smiles, giggles, &snowballs were flying! ☃️❤️

Yesterday was full of focus, fun, & a little creativity! Some of our residents enjoyed piecing together colorful puzzles while others worked on crocheting hats and scarves. 🧣🧵

These kinds of activities aren’t just a way to pass the time — they’re powerful tools for supporting brain health, fine motor skills, & emotional well-being. 🧠💪 Whether it’s finding that perfect puzzle piece or stitching the next row, our residents stay engaged, creative, & proud of what they accomplish!

At Mercy House, we believe every day should include purpose, connection, & a sense of achievement.💛

🎉 B-I-N-G-O and Bingo was their game-o! 🎉

Our Residents enjoyed a lively game of Bingo today—complete with smiles, laughter, and just the right amount of friendly competition!

Bingo is more than just a fun pastime—it’s a wonderful activity for both Assisted Living & Memory Care Residents. It helps stimulate the mind, improve focus, encourage social interaction, & can even bring back joyful memories. The simple structure & familiar routine make it especially beneficial for those living with memory challenges.

Whether they’re shouting “Bingo!” or cheering on a friend, these moments of joy and connection are what it’s all about. 💛

This weekend, a group of our incredible Mercy House staff traveled to Burnet to help with the cleanup at Pafford Place — an Assisted Living Community devastated by the flooding over the July 4th weekend. 💔🌧️

With hearts full of compassion & hands ready to serve, our team rolled up their sleeves to sort through debris & personal belongings, offering comfort and support to those who lost not only their home, but a part of their family.

While some were on the ground in Burnet, others were busy delivering the many generous donations we collected for our neighbors across the Hill Country — distributing muck kits, water, tools, hygiene supplies & food to those in need.

It was a weekend of giving back, with Staff from across our Mercy House locations, coming together to serve in any way they could. It was humbling to witness the strength & resilience of the people we met — and an honor to walk alongside them during such a difficult time.

We are grateful to be part of something greater than ourselves — showing up with love, dignity, & grace, every single day for our Residents & their families. 💙🙏

At Mercy House Assisted Living & Memory Care, when we say we’re a family, we truly mean it. 💛It’s in the laughter shared during a friendly game of dominoes…In the quiet joy of sitting outside, feeling the breeze on your face…And in the simple singing of one’s favorite song. These everyday moments are what make Mercy House feel like home—a place where love, connection, and compassion live. Come see the Mercy House Difference.

This beautiful afternoon was made even brighter with a little art therapy! 🎨☀️

Our residents spent time painting, drawing, and coloring—and the smiles said it all. These creative moments aren’t just fun; they’re incredibly beneficial, especially for our Memory Care residents. Art therapy helps stimulate the brain, spark memories, reduce anxiety, and encourage self-expression in the most meaningful ways. 🖌️🧠💛

We love seeing the joy and calm that creativity brings to our community!
