Ladies at Signature HealthCARE of Georgetown had a great time today participating in our monthly "Red Hat Ladies" club meeting. Todays special dessert was an improvised Strawberry Shortcake made with cream filled cookies and strawberry preserves. The ladies always enjoy spending time together and sharing laughs. We love our ladies club members! Come and check all the fun things happening in our facility!

To celebrate, our CEO, Joe Steier, and leadership team hit the road to tour our Louisville facilities — bringing banners, t-shirts, pizza, and a whole lot of gratitude to our amazing staff.

Signature HealthCARE of Georgetown was honored to receive the award for Life Enrichment Department of the Quarter out of all the Signature Facilities ! We are so proud of the creativity of our Life Enrichment Department- and over the moon excited at the level of involvement they have garnered from our residents. When we say "come and check out the fun things happening in our facility"- we're serious! There are so many benefits for our residents in having a robust schedule of activities, as well as a high level of participation. KUDOS and CONGRATULATIONS to our Life Enrichment Director, Kimberly Hillard, and her Asst. Rhonda Burgess! Well done ladies. You are appreciated by the staff , the residents, and their families. Keep up the great work.

Things got a little "nutty" with our residents of Signature HealthCARE of Georgetown during craft time. Residents and volunteers had fun creating whimsical acorns to hang in the facility. As you can see craft time is a favorite time of the day. It's so great to see their creative takes on a art project, and even better to hear the laughter and watch the bonds grow between them. Come and check out the all the fun things we're doing in our facility ! If you have crafting donations, or holiday decorations that you would love to donate- please contact our Life Enrichment Department or feel free to drop them by our front office. Our residents would love to use them! Connection to our outside community is so important to our residents. We are also seeking youth/school choirs to come and perform throughout the year!

🌟 Happy Sigiversary to Idah Kariko! 🌟

For 23 years, Idah has been an incredible part of the Signature HealthCARE family. Fifteen years ago, she moved from Florida to Louisville with Signature when our home office relocated—and she’s loved experiencing all four seasons in Kentucky ever since.

Idah is known for wearing many hats—always stepping up to help with projects, building connections with her co-workers, and sharing her positivity wherever she goes. She says working at Signature is truly a blessing, and we couldn’t agree more!

Outside of work, Idah shines as a small business owner with Idah’s Creations, where she makes handmade earrings that she sells at local festivals, churches, and school events. She also enjoys bowling, fishing, stargazing, movie nights, and—most of all—watching her son Elijah grow.

Thank you, Idah, for 23 wonderful years and for all you do to make Signature what it is!
