Herban Veda “the connection human beings subconsciously seek with the rest of life.” -Edward Wilson Here I have shaped my knowledge into medicine for the tribe.

This is about fulfilling our instincts and playing out the roles of the care giving, stewards we are of this earth. She had laid it all out for us, given us the strength and knowledge she has been brewing up for centuries. I have taken what I have learned and am continuing to expand that knowledge outward into the world in the form of plant medicinals. In the plethora of botany that this rock has to offer, together we can heal ailments from broken hearts, to broken bones. In my herbal tinctures I have either wild crafted, or obtained herbs that were harvested and nourished at optimal standards and are organic.

Hydrosols are such a special and ethereal way to connect with the truest essence of a plant. I have been diving into the deepest depths of distillation and it truly is such an alchemical high.

Juniper yes, high in pinene which contains powerful anti-inflammatory at antimicrobial properties. The berries contain constituents that helped to brighten and balance, skin tone. This distillation is great for reducing redness and inflammation on your skin, as well as combating, oily skin, acne, and blackheads.

Rosemary increases circulation to help with puffiness. Its strong antibacterial properties help fight against acne & blackheads l, and is also astringent and tightens pores. Great detangler for hair, as an anti viral throat spray when starting to get a scratchy throat. Use as a wound spray for antiseptic properties. Rosemary also encourages mental clarity.

Tulsi opens the prana vaha srotases or the gateways to our consciousness. Use wisely in India during meditation. Tulsi, also known as as holy basil, is high in eugenol which has antifungal, antioxidant, and antibacterial properties. This hydrosol makes a great face toner, anti-fungal spray, and can be used in meditation to reach deeper states of consciousness. It is one of the most widely used pharmacological and spiritual plants use in India

Tulsi is a sweet ally for peace. Tulsi opens the prana vaha srotases or the gateways to consciousness. Plant around your homes for protection and prosperity.

Here I am harvesting the last batch of tulsi for the year and doing our magical alchemical dance of distillation where steam whispers droplets of this plants spirit (dna) into sacred little vessels to share its blessings with you.

For skin, tulsi is great for combating acne with its camphor antibacterial constituents. It is also abundant in phenolic antioxidants that smooth fine limes from oxidative stress. Sushi also contains vitamin c to help keep your skin plum and hydrated.

You can spray in your mouth for meditation as well to reach a deeper state of mind.

I got to use the for the first time on our trip to Colorado. I love this little camera so much. It’s got the look and feel of a disposable camera that actually holds over 500 pictures that you can later upload to look at later. There’s no screen, there’s no trying over and over for the perfect shot. It’s just real time enjoying the momentsg you’re in. It was perfect for juniper too, she loved playing with it and taking pictures too!
