The Movery offers the opportunity to explore the integral connection between mind, body, and soul. It is not a quick fix, but a joyful exploration of each present moment. Through guidance and encouragement, you will know your body as never before, learn to love to move, and find the ability to make lifelong changes. Our goal is to help clients enjoy their exercise experience by discovering a great

I'm very excited to announce our newest addition to The Movery!

Introducing Joie, a seasoned yoga instructor with 8 years of certification and expertise. Joie specializes in slow-moving yoga postures, fostering an environment that allows the body to relax and heal itself. Her warm, grounding energy serves as a guiding force in your journey towards bridging the gap between the chaotic world and inner Peace. Together with Joie, you'll discover a safe space to explore the energy within your body and empower yourself to show up authentically. Let Joie be your guide as you find your baseline and expand your abilities on the path to self-discovery and well-being.

Her classes will be in studio and online on Tuesdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 8am.

Not many are aware of the work I do with the nervous system. In my quest to connect Body Mind and Spirit, I have learned a great deal about the way the body stores our personalities and memories. Learning to pause and tune in to what is going on within will challenge you greatly, but it could also catapult your entire belief system to a deeper place of true knowing...yourself, others and Spirit.

This is one of the teachers who has most inspired me, and an interesting read, considering how common it is to pull the shoulders back and stick out the chest.

So many of us have been instructed to lift our sternums to achieve a form or posture. It's a mechanical action that can tighten our spine, ribs, sternum, and shoulders.

There is a misconception that you have to be "in shape" to use the Pilates reformer. Pilates is about building a strong core and then progressing to reach individual goals and the reformer is a great piece of equipment for any fitness level! All exercises done on the reformer can be progressed or regressed allowing the instructor meet individual needs of their clients.

Our Story

Moksha Yoga and Pilates is located at 501 South Austin Avenue, Suite 1220, Georgetown, TX 78626, on the second floor of the beautiful Tamiro Plaza Building, just off of the historic Square in downtown Georgetown, Texas. We are located directly across the street from the Monument Cafe. We offer a variety of yoga and Pilates classes for all levels of experience, as well as special workshops, beginner series and various donation classes that benefit local charities. An authorized licensee of Moksha Yoga.
