The conference brought together dedicated professionals and community partners from across the state who are committed to supporting individuals and families struggling with substance use. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and continue strengthening partnerships that promote recovery, hope, and access to care throughout Delaware.

Today we had the opportunity to attend the Peer Summit hosted by Mental Health Association in Delaware. It was an inspiring day filled with connection, education, and powerful stories of recovery and resilience.

From the impactful keynote presentation by Sarah Laurel of Savage Sisters Recovery to the discussion panelists sharing their experiences with honesty and vulnerability, the event truly highlighted the importance of peer support in our communities.

Congratulations to all of the peers who were recognized with awards for their dedication and commitment to helping others. Your work continues to make a lasting difference.

Thank you to Mental Health Association in Delaware for hosting such a meaningful event, and thank you to every peer who attended — and to those who could not attend because they were out in the community doing the important work of providing hope, resources, support, and compassionate listening to individuals in need.

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming school counselors from the Georgetown School District for a tour of our facility at SUN Behavioral Delaware.

It was a great opportunity to connect, share information about our services, and discuss how we can continue supporting students and families in our communities. We appreciate the counselors taking the time to visit and learn more about the resources available through SUN Delaware.
