Today’s “Ask a Resident” question really made us stop and think 💭📖

We asked: “If you wrote a book about your life, what would it be titled?”

The answers were everything—funny, heartfelt, clever, and full of wisdom ✨ Some made us laugh out loud, while others reminded us just how much life, love, and resilience each of our residents carries with them every single day ❤️

If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that these wouldn’t just be books… they’d be bestsellers. Stories filled with history, lessons, adventures, and memories that deserve to be told and remembered 📚💫

Madness took over Windsor today and it did NOT disappoint 🏀🔥💥

For Wellness with Will, we brought the full March Madness energy with our very own Windsor Tournament—brackets set, competition fierce, and residents ready to win it all! Upsets, close calls, and BIG moments all led up to an intense championship showdown between Mrs. Bette and Mrs. Carole 👀

And just when we thought it couldn’t get more dramatic… we went into OVERTIME ⏱️😱 A head-to-head shoot-off had everyone on the edge of their seats—and in a clutch, championship-worthy finish, Mrs. Bette came out on top!!! 🏆👏

Buzzer-beaters, bragging rights, and nonstop excitement… this is what March Madness is all about!!! 🙌🔥

Lucky vibes all around today 🍀✨

We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in the sweetest and most festive way! From themed doughnuts and delicious trail mix to a lively game of bingo with gold coins and clover-covered chips, the fun never stopped 💚 Staff joined in on the spirit with their festive outfits, making the day even more special!

And as if that wasn’t enough, we also got to celebrate one of our very own—happy birthday to Mrs. Litha! 🧁 She was treated to her own personal cupcake to make her day extra sweet 🎉

A day full of laughter, treats, and a little extra luck 🍀

March Madness has officially tipped off at Windsor Gardens! 🏀🎉

Today our residents filled out their tournament brackets and made their predictions for who they think will take home the championship! From serious strategists to bold underdog picks, everyone had a blast joining in on the fun!

🤩📋 Now the real excitement begins as we watch the games and see whose bracket survives the madness!

👀🏆 We can’t wait to see who our Windsor Gardens bracket champion will be! 🥇🏀

At Windsor Gardens, we’re proud to partner with EmpowerMe Wellness to provide onsite therapy services for our residents. From physical therapy to occupational and speech therapy, their team helps residents build strength, improve independence, and stay confident in their daily lives. 💪🧠

🌷🌼 A little springtime gardening in Memory Care today!

Our Memory Care residents spent part of the day planting daffodils and tulips in pots that will be placed out on the courtyard porch. Residents planted the flowers indoors, carefully filling the pots with soil and arranging the bulbs so they’ll be ready to brighten up the space once they’re set outside.

Activities like this are a wonderful way for residents to stay engaged and creative, and it also brought back lots of sweet memories of gardening and springtime at home. There was plenty of conversation, laughter, and excitement about watching the flowers grow. 🌿

We can’t wait to place the pots out on the porch and watch the daffodils and tulips bloom, adding some beautiful spring color to our courtyard for everyone to enjoy! 🌸🌞

📚✨ Library Day at Windsor Gardens! ✨📚

Today we had a wonderful visit from Riley with Scott County Public Library, who brought the library right to our residents! She set up a selection of books and helped residents browse, pick out titles, and check out their next great read without even leaving the building.

Our residents absolutely loved getting to look through the different books, talk about their favorite genres, and find something new to enjoy. There’s nothing quite like the joy of a good book! 📖💙

A big thank you to Riley and the Scott County Library for making reading more accessible and bringing such a fun experience to our community!

🌸 A little spring cleaning at Windsor Gardens today! 🧹🌿

Our team spent some time sprucing up the courtyards, and our residents got to enjoy the results with a lovely walk around the community to check out all the progress! There’s nothing like fresh air and a clean, beautiful space to brighten the day. ☀️

During the walk, we made a stop on the front porch rocking chairs for a relaxing break; soaking up the warmer (than it’s been lately!) weather and enjoying some peaceful porch time together. 🪑🌤️

We even spotted budding flowers in the garden, a sweet reminder that spring is just around the corner! 🌷🌱

Fresh air, front porch chats, and the first signs of spring… it was a wonderful day at Windsor Gardens!

This good weather has us acting up! ☀️💦

Our memory care crew decided the best way to enjoy a beautiful day was with a little sprinkler fun! Laughter, sunshine, and a few happy splashes made for the perfect afternoon. 🌈

Sometimes the best moments are the simple ones — warm weather, big smiles, and not being afraid to play like a kid again! 💛

Who says you’re ever too old to run through a sprinkler? 😄💧

A beautiful morning in Memory Care today! ☀️📖

Brittany, our Memory Care Activity Director, led residents in daily devotions in the common area as we spent time reflecting, sharing, and growing in faith together.

💯💪🏽LUNCH TODAY? ELITE 💪🏽💯

Crispy, breaded chicken drumsticks cooked to golden perfection. Creamy, dreamy macaroni & cheese that understood the assignment. Perfectly seasoned peas (yes, even the peas were good 👏). And a warm, fluffy yeast roll that sealed the deal.

Comfort food level: unmatched.
Clean plates: everywhere.
Jealousy level if you weren’t here: extremely high. 😌

The smell alone could’ve convinced anyone to move in.
