Every May, Healthy Vision Month is celebrated to raise awareness about eye health, encourage preventive care, and promote healthy eye habits.

Approximately 37 million adults in the U.S. have an eye health condition that may lead to vision impairment or blindness. These conditions include Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, Cataracts, and more.

This past weekend, Humane Animal Partners of Delaware visited La Red Health Center and provided care to dozens of furry friends! The Humane Animal Partners provided many shots and vaccines, including DHPP, FVRCP, Bordetella, Rabies, and dewormers.

Humane Animal Partners’ mission is to connect people with animals, build strong relationships to better the community, and prevent cruelty to animals.

These pillars are brought to life through programs that provide shelter and adoption for unwanted and homeless pets, reduce pet overpopulation through low-cost spay/neuter, and enable pet retention by providing low-cost veterinary services, free community pet food pantries, and more.

Thank you to the Humane Animal Partners of Delaware for keeping our pets happy and healthy! ✨

Are you exposed to secondhand smoke on a regular basis by someone you live or work with who uses to***co, va**ng, or e-cigarette products?🚬

The Delaware Division of Public Health is looking for adults, ages 18 and older, to join in a small two-hour focus group to discuss secondhand smoke exposure.

A light meal will be provided, and participants will receive a $100 VISA or Mastercard gift card. Contact Jayden Carr if you're interested or have any questions at (443)742-6677.

The Humane Animal Partners of Delaware will be providing a $20 vaccine clinic on Saturday, May 16th!

This is a great chance to get your pet the vaccines they need! Pre-registration is required. 🐶

The Humane Animal Partners will be administering DHPP, FVRCP, Bordetella, Rabies, and dewormers. Optional microchipping ($10) and flea & tick preventatives ($25) will also be available.
