Answering the first of your pharmacy questions today!

❓Can the flu shot give you the flu?
Short answer: Nope! 🙅‍♀️🙅‍♂️

The flu shot is made with inactivated virus or just pieces of the virus—meaning it can’t cause the flu. Some people feel a little sore, tired, or run a low fever for a day or two after getting vaccinated. That’s just your immune system kicking in 💪—not the flu!

Getting your flu shot is one of the easiest ways to protect yourself and those around you this season.

It’s still a little early to get vaccinated for the flu but we will alert you when the time is right ! 💉
