If you are grieving, or experienced the death of a loved one, this is a safe place to connect to. Special articles, posts and information about the nature of grief and it’s rocky ups and downs are posted weekly. Su***de, homicide, fatal accident, storm related losses, loss of fur-babies, sudden infant death loss, empty nest, loss of job ... these are all losses which the body responds to. Grief is the body’s natural response to loss, but it doesn’t feel natural, normal, 0r commonplace. It is a difficult transition, in life, with tsunami force, ripping your heart out in a devastating scenario. If you are struggling with grief, keep on reading. Three groups below are lead by Charlotte Otto, LPC, Certified Grief Recovery Specialist.

Support Groups can help normalize this experience in grief. A Grief support is planned from May 9th to June 27, 2018 weekly on Wednesdays from 10-11:30. Text or call 361-215-5322 for registration information. Spouses, parents, siblings, adult children affected by grief are welcome. Session Fee is $20, received in monthly payment of $80 via credit or debit, or weekly by $20 cash.

An in-depth Women’s Support Group featuring coping skills for anxiety, depression, panic attacks, PTSD, self esteem, trust and betrayal, starts this coming week May 7, 2018 Mondays from 3-4:30pm. This group is helpful for traumatic or complicated grief, relationship issues, and generalized anxiety and depression. Session Fee is $20, received monthly payment of $80 via credit or debit, or weekly by $20 cash.

Traumatic deaths such as su***de, homicide, fatal accident, have a Special Support Group: Thursday evenings, starts May 10th, 2018 @ 7-8:30pm. Group rates above apply. If you have been affected by any of these types of losses/deaths.
