I’ve been growing Microgreens from seed quilts since before Covid. They are an easy way to add nutrients to meals as studies show that Microgreens are about 40% more nutrient packed than their mature counterparts. They take about a week to grow. You can also grow them from seed in soil or water. Mine get enough West facing sun to thrive year round! I’ll post soon with pics of Microgreens on some dishes I’ve made.

I love a good curry dish! Dreary rainy weather healthy recipe I thought I’d share.
Add to pot in this order:
A drizzle of EVOO
1 can Organic diced tomatoes
1/4 C water
1 Tablespoon curry powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon Celtic salt
sauté then add chopped kale (stems removed) in batches until it wilts.
Add a can of organic Chickpeas for a few more minutes.
While making the above recipe, roast 2-3 potatoes (I used Russet) in EVOO, salt, pepper, and oregano. Then add potatoes to the pot.
Pretty simple and delish!

I’ve been in private practice for 10 years (and working in the therapy field for nearly 24 😳)! The first 2 and a half years of private practice I sublet my office from the Artful Life, before they became a huge group practice. Natalie and Madelene, the owners, are fabulous and I am sure their expressive therapy staff are as well!

Here ya go! 11 various greater Georgetown area free (or cheap) library resources in May for relaxation/mental wellness! I am sure there are many others and there are also kids yoga classes I didn't list. Some of these classes are recurring as well. Don't overlook libraries as a great resource.

You can't tell me:
1) Nothings free (or cheap anymore)
2) You don't know how to start taking care of your mental health
3) No one helps you.
