Just finished this book and thought it was really good! I’m a sucker for a good fictional or historical fiction novel where the characters grow and change with adversity. This book mixes current day New England fiction, African American historical fiction, tragedy/trauma, grief and loss, complicated love stories, French countryside and the arts (pottery, photography and writing). I also enjoyed the narration!
