Last night we did a joint training at Westville Area Fire Protection District. Chief Mark Ames and his crews were very helpful in knowledge in this training with the ventilation doll house training. We did an in class training and then a live demonstration which shows fire fighters a perspective of how fire works and how explosive smoke can be. We appreciate you inviting us to this training. We all learned a lot of valuable things last night. They’ll be some videos posted next.

GEORGETOWN FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AUXILIARY, GEORGETOWN FIRE, AND GEORGETOWN AMBULANCE went and volunteered to help the Georgetown American Legion Dornblaser post 203 put flags out at the cemetery for the Veterans for Memorial Day! 🚑🚒♥️💙🖤 🇺🇲

🚑 National EMS Week 🚑

This week, we recognize the EMTs, paramedics, and emergency medical personnel (the really expensive taxi drivers 😝) who answer the call at all hours. Providing lifesaving care when seconds matter most.

From serious emergencies to everyday medical calls, EMS professionals bring skill, compassion, and calm to people during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

we work alongside EMS every day and see firsthand the dedication they bring to our communities. Whether responding in the middle of the night, during severe weather, or on difficult scenes, their commitment never goes unnoticed.

Fire training tonight was a success. Mark Ames and a few of Westville Area Fire Protection District crew members came down and trained on basic ventilation practicality and techniques. We appreciate the knowledge and the skills they share with us and as always we do this for the community. To better us all as firefighters! We will continue to do so! Happy Monday night!
