INVITATION FOR SEALED BIDS
2026 GRASS CUTTING SERVICES

The Gerald Area Ambulance District is now accepting sealed bids for grass cutting and lawn care services for the 2026 mowing season at:

**Gerald Area Ambulance Headquarters**
6 E Springfield Ave
Gerald, Missouri 63037

**SCOPE OF WORK**

The selected contractor will be responsible for maintaining the district grounds in a clean, safe, and professional manner, including:

* All grass cutting of district property
* Trimming around buildings, fences, and obstacles
* Cleaning and removal of grass clippings from sidewalks, aprons, and all hard surfaces
* Mowing to be completed weekly during peak growing season, or as needed to maintain a professional appearance
* Contractor must maintain a professional appearance of the grounds at all times

**SITE VISITS**

Bidders are encouraged to visit the property prior to submitting a bid to assess lot size and address any questions.

**BID REQUIREMENTS**

* Contractor must be licensed
* Contractor must carry liability insurance
* Proof of insurance must be included with bid submission
* Bid must be submitted as a per mowing rate

**START DATE**

Service start date will follow the March Gerald Area Ambulance District Board of Directors meeting.

**SUBMISSION DETAILS**

* All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope
* Clearly mark envelope: “Grass Cutting Bid”
* Deliver to:
Gerald Area Ambulance Headquarters

Gerald, MO 63037

**Deadline:**
All sealed bids must be received no later than the end of business day on **March 9th**.

**AWARD OF BID**

Bid award will be determined by the Gerald Area Ambulance District Board of Directors.
The Gerald Area Ambulance District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
