Meet Greg Barnett, PT ATP/SMS

Greg brings over 30 years of clinical experience to the Freedom in Mobility team, with a background in physical therapy across neuro, cardiac rehab, wound care, ortho, and home health settings. His diverse expertise laid the groundwork for a successful career in Complex Rehab Technology.

He’s been RESNA certified as an ATP since 1999 and earned his SMS certification in 2011. Greg is passionate about serving the East Tennessee community and joined Freedom in Mobility as Director of Clinical Education in 2023.

Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending time outdoors with his three children and three grandchildren. He’s also a dedicated scout leader and serves on the local Scouts BSA Executive Board.

We’re proud to have Greg on our team, helping clients live more independently every day.

On day 4 of CRT Awareness Week, Superheroes of CRT, we recognize CRT providers for everything they do. These dedicated companies and their staff supply the needed operating infrastructure and expertise to partner with individuals with disabilities, family members, clinicians, and others to deliver individually configured solutions that maximize independence.
Special recognition goes to the credentialed Assistive Technology Professionals (ATP), Certified Rehab Technology Suppliers (CRTS), Seating and Mobility Specialists (SMS), and supporting rehab and repair technicians who work one-on-one with individuals to improve lives every day.
