Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁

As we celebrate this season of gratitude, I want to begin by thanking God for His continuous blessings. I’m deeply grateful for the trust He has placed in me through every patient, every referral, and every referral source that supports my practice.

I’m also thankful for the strength, wisdom, and guidance the Lord has provided throughout the year. When I transitioned to full-time last March, I wasn’t sure of the outcome. Yet, by God’s grace and with perseverance, the business has thrived.

I’m especially grateful to all my patients who have spread the word about my practice. Truly, word-of-mouth is an invaluable referral source.

Thank you, Lord, for your guidance and provision, and thank you to everyone who continues to support my practice.

Yesterday, i went to see 2 doctors office, introduced myself and EVERMORE THERAPY SOLUTIONS. I handed them my calling cards, brochure , ball pens 😆. Today i got 4 referrals. We do home visits!

Problem solved! Finally found out the root of my billing problem was somehow during the start of my emr/clearing house set up last year they forgot to do an important IT job- import ERAs to my account.
Lesson learned: be hands on, direct and assertive in solving your business problems , do not rely to others even if it is their job.
It is your business, your responsibility. Your lost is your lost. Emr and clearing houses get paid either they solve your problem or not, either they do their job completely or not. Your stress is your own stress, they don’t share that.

Hope that helps other business owners too like me!
If you have problem with your ERAs, remit details/payments, novitasphere access, ask me! I’m an expert now based on experience lol. I might be able to help.

As a business owner, I thought i left my 9-5 job for a good exciting venture, that is a joke😅. I just signed up for a 24/7 job. I am enjoying the ride most of the time but nightmare rises from time to time. I guess it’s also true that I’m growing and learning with every problem that I encounter. The experience makes me tougher. 😆

The past 3-4 weeks my billing nightmare arised again plus the added no remit details or ERA’s from my clearing house that was not solve yet since last year. Before i worry alot, now i try to act and solve things with more assertiveness on my part although, i do even before. But this time i try not to rely on my clearing house, my emr/billing. At the end of the day, as long as they’re paid, i guess they’re fine. Medicare IVR became my bestfriend. I dial it more than my wife’s phone number.

Here i am, i will sleep late again hoping that this time what i completed and faxed to Novitas will be the answer to my problems. Another 10days of waiting..

My thoughts just now, if this still doesn’t work, i will finally get a billing company 😂😂😂. I will finally be convinced that paying atleast 500$ a month is a better option than this mountain of stress.

The good thing on having a business, my patients. I am blessed and happy to have them. Looking forward to see them everyday!

I’m so blessed the past months since i decided to go full time on my physical therapy business. Word of mouth is so powerful source of referral. A warm smile, show of respect and gratitude, Hard work, exceptional patient care and experience, building relationships with doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and patient’s family/caregivers are the recipes to gaining more patient referrals.

Today, i introduced myself and spoke to the manager of a senior living and agreed for me to put my flyers and calling cards on different busy areas of their building. She personally pointed out where to place them.
