When playing in the snow, children can get cold faster than you think. Take frequent warm breaks and dress in layers. Signs of hypothermia include pesistent shivering, pale skin, fingers/ toes feel numb, poor coordination, confusion, and fatigue. Icy conditions increase the risk of falls and musculoskeletal injuries. Be careful. Play safe. Stay warm. Enjoy the snow!
