IV Sedation vs. General Anesthesia — what’s the difference? 🤔

✨ IV Sedation: You’re deeply relaxed, sleepy, and comfortable—breathing on your own. Most patients remember little to nothing afterward, and recovery is typically faster.

💤 General Anesthesia: You’re fully unconscious with breathing support. Often used for longer or more complex procedures and comes with a longer recovery time.

👉 At The Langsdon Clinic, Deep Plane Facelifts are performed under IV sedation (often called “twilight sleep”), offering comfort without the need for general anesthesia.
