There’s something about the first day of spring that feels like a turning point. After months of gray skies, long nights, and being cooped up inside, spring reminds us that change is happening. Even if it’s slow, even if it’s not fully here yet.
You don’t need a big reset to start feeling better. Sometimes it starts with something small. Stepping outside. Noticing the light. Letting your mind breathe for a minute.
New seasons don’t fix everything, but they can be an invitation to begin again.🌱

This week’s wintery weather has a lot of us in the Midwest dreaming about summer…And while it may feel early, now is actually the perfect time to start thinking ahead.
Between busy schedules, travel, and a well-earned break from school, it’s easy for learning (and even faith habits) to take a back seat. But with a little intention, summer can be a season of growth, not just a pause.
This article shares simple, practical ways to help your child:
📖 Stay engaged in reading and faith
➕ Keep math skills sharp in everyday moments
🌿 Grow mentally, physically, and spiritually through time outdoors
It’s not about adding more pressure. It’s about being intentional with the moments you already have.

Paul wasn’t talking about March Midwest weather when he wrote this verse… but the windy, snowy forecast still reminds us of something important.
The hard seasons we face now aren’t the end of the story. God is bringing something better.

“Should I be taking medication for anxiety or depression?” It’s a question more are quietly asking.
In this article, we walk through:
• When emotional struggles may need more support
• How medication can help (and when it might not)
• What talking to a doctor actually looks like
• How faith, therapy, and medication can work together
Medication isn’t one-size-fits-all. But asking honest questions about mental health is a wise and courageous step.
Christian Family Solutions offers Medication Management services for children, teens, and young adults in Wisconsin. Learn more here:
922 Ministries says it well! Reaching out for help with your mental health isn’t a lack of trust in God. The Lord works through many means to support us, including counselors and medication.
Seeking help can be an act of stewardship, caring for the mind and body God has given you, and receiving his gifts with gratitude.
If you or someone you love could use support, we’re here:
Last week, we were blessed to gather with friends and supporters in Arizona for a special evening of fellowship and encouragement. Generous hosts opened their home and created a warm space for conversation, connection, and a closer look at the mission of Christian Family Solutions. It was a joy to share the ways God continues to work through this ministry.
We’re thankful for partners who believe in this work and make it possible to continue providing Christ-centered counseling and care to individuals and families!

We’re thankful for the opportunity to connect with the students at Wisconsin Lutheran High School this week! Counselor Hannah Zuleger had the privilege of speaking to the entire student body about trauma - how it can affect us, how to recognize its impact, and healthy ways to respond. Conversations like these help reduce stigma and remind students they’re not alone in what they’re facing.
It’s always encouraging to partner with schools that care deeply about the emotional and spiritual well-being of their students.
WLHS had a special assembly this morning featuring guest speaker Ms. Hannah Zuleger from Christian Family Solutions.
Ms. Zuleger spoke with students about understanding trauma—what it is, how to recognize its impact, and healthy ways to cope. Her presentation offered practical insight and tools to help students better understand themselves and support others who may be navigating difficult experiences.
We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Christian Family Solutions as we continue to support the emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of our students.

As Christians, we have found such joy and peace in God that we desire to share it with others. We not only want to bring the Good News of salvation to those individuals who are of our faith, but we also want to do as the Lord has commanded us in Galatians 6:10, saying: “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people.”
This is the reason for which Christian Family Solutions (formerly referred to as Wisconsin Lutheran Child & Family Service) was first established—to do good to all people.
On July 13, 1965, the Board of Directors filed the Articles of Incorporation for Wisconsin Lutheran Convalescent Home, Inc. (WLCH). The Green Tree Gardens Convalescent and Nursing Home was purchased, and WLCH began operating the facility on August 1, 1965.
In January of 1966, it was decided that the WLCH was in need of expanded services not only to accommodate more patients and residents, but also to provide social services.
On March 4, 1966, the name of the agency was officially changed to Wisconsin Lutheran Child & Family Service, Inc. (WLCFS).
Later, in October 2011, the WLCFS became known as Christian Family Solutions. This allowed for more expansive branding and communicated the organization’s global reach.
Over the decades, our programs and services have changed, grown, and adapted with the changing needs of those we serve. Our outreach now extends to all those who are in need of our healing and helping ministry.
We work as a team to reach out and make an impact on the lives of all, while living out our mission of “healing and helping people in need through the ministry of Jesus Christ.”
