We’re excited to shine a spotlight this month on one of our lovely residents, Val!
Val truly enjoys life at The Gables of Germantown and has already made many wonderful friendships. She keeps a busy schedule with bingo, cribbage, and other weekly outings that help her stay active.
One of Val’s greatest blessings in life was her husband, Dean. They were married for 56 years and raised two wonderful daughters together. Val’s favorite memories is a three-week trip they took to England, where they explored many antique shops and met people from all over.
Before moving to The Gables, Val spent 50 years as an antique dealer and has a cherished collection of earrings gathered over the years. She also worked in HR and looks back fondly on the many connections she made throughout her career.
We’re so lucky to have Val as part of our community!
