A big congrats to the Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation team on their new study: "Can a Facility Dog Improve Inpatient Rehabilitation Engagement?" Special thanks to Peru IV, the facility dog who made it all possible.

A team of dedicated researchers at Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation — Dr. Heather Tropiano, Julie Robertson, PT, DPT, Alan Rathbun, PhD, MPH, Brian T. Yates, PhD, and Dr. Nicole M. Fromm — just published a heartwarming and impactful study: "Can a Facility Dog Improve Inpatient Rehabilitation Engagement?"

The study explores how facility dogs can help patients stay more engaged during rehab. And it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of Peru IV, Facility Dog — a true star of the project!

This past weekend, our team connected with young professionals from around the world during the annual Adventist Young Professionals convention in Houston, Texas.

During the event, we introduced attendees to Adventist HealthCare and provided practical professional training during a workshop we hosted about the vitals of a winning career.

Last evening, the General Conference session of our sponsoring organization concluded with a special “Mission on the Move” program which showcased the global impact of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

As a part of the program, our the CEO, John Sackett, along with the CEOs of our sister organizations from across North America, showcased the impact of healthcare as a ministry. The touching stories of real patients received applause and brought tears to the tens of thousands in attendance as well as hundreds of thousands watching online from around the world.
