🌟 Caregiver of the Month – September 🌟
Congratulations, Sheryl!
Right at Home is proud to recognize Sheryl as our Caregiver of the Month for September! Since joining our team in 2018, Sheryl has been a consistent source of compassion, positivity, and strength — bringing laughter, kindness, and outstanding care into the lives of everyone she serves.
Over the past seven years, Sheryl has built a reputation for being not only dependable and skilled, but also for forming meaningful, heartfelt connections with her clients. She has a natural ability to make people feel seen, valued, and supported — and she does so with grace, humility, and a wonderful sense of humor that brightens every room she enters.
Sheryl’s excellence in caregiving has not gone unnoticed. In 2020, she was awarded Right at Home’s Midwest Region Caregiver of the Year, and in 2025, she was proudly named a national finalist for Caregiver of the Year — a testament to the profound impact she has made both locally and beyond.
What sets Sheryl apart is her unwavering reliability and deep sense of responsibility. She always sees where help is needed most and instinctively focuses on the tasks that will have the greatest positive impact. Whether it’s providing emotional support, completing hands-on care, or simply being present for someone in need, Sheryl gives her full heart to everything she does.
She is also incredibly flexible and always willing to help whenever her schedule allows — often stepping in to support clients or fellow caregivers when needed most. Her team-first attitude and genuine dedication make her an invaluable part of the Right at Home family.
Additionally, Sheryl is a clear and consistent communicator. She regularly reports client condition changes to the office, ensuring everyone involved in care stays informed and aligned. Thanks to her attentiveness and proactive approach, our clients continue to receive the best care possible.
Sheryl is more than just an outstanding caregiver — she’s also a beloved member of our Right at Home family. Her positive energy and can-do attitude lift the spirits of everyone she works with, and she plays a big part in boosting team morale across the board. We jokingly call her the Morale Officer!
We are incredibly grateful to have Sheryl on our team. Her years of service, unmatched work ethic, and compassionate approach to care continue to inspire everyone around her.
Thank you, Sheryl, for all you do — and congratulations on this well-earned recognition!
