The Gardens of Germantown Memory Care

The Gardens of Germantown Memory Care We are pleased to invite you to the Gardens of Germantown page! Please feel free to check out our pictures, events, and updates weekly! Welcome Home!

The Gardens of Germantown is the first community completely focused on memory care and the only progressive memory care in the Mid-South, offering three distinct neighborhoods based on our residents’ level of cognitive decline. Each neighborhood has its own dining and living area—just like home! The large living rooms allow residents to engage with others, getting to know their neighbors and making new friends. Our open-floor concept encourages residents to participate in activities and enjoy life at the Gardens. Best of all, residents feel more connected and cared about from day-one. The Gardens of Germantown is conveniently located between Poplar Pike and Poplar Avenue near Forest Hill Irene between Germantown and Collierville, also near East Memphis.

We hosted the ALZ Association “Walk to End ALZ” Year End Celebration Party tonight. We are proud to be a sponsor and are thrilled that the Memphis Walk teams exceeded the 2025 fundraising goal! Thank you to each of the other sponsors and top fundraisers who were recognized tonight by the Walk Manager, Don Schwartz.
The 2026 Walk will be on 07 November 2026 at Shelby Farms so let us know if you would like to help!

The residents named him “Merlot”. He was sad because he had no color and he was scared so we pardoned Merlot and gave him lots of colorful feathers with all of the things we are grateful for! Happy Thanksgiving Week!

Happy Veterans Day! We had a wonderful ceremony to celebrate and thank our veterans, Hiram, Leah, Jesse, and Don! Prayers of peace, Patriotic songs, Veteran Poems, Poppy pins, and Military trivia filled our afternoon. We presented our Veterans a personalized poster designed by Jennifer. How fitting that today is also Hiram’s birthday so we enjoyed treats provided by his family!
To round out our incredible afternoon, we were mesmerized by the BBQ Singers group from the Worldwide Barbershop Quartet Association! They were fantastic!

The Walk to End ALZ was Saturday and we were honored to be a Sponsor! Our very own resident Judy participated in the starting ceremony and represented everyone who lives with Alzheimer’s (Blue Flower). We also provided a Shuttle service with our bus from the overflow parking to the Walk event and back.
Sharon put together and manned our booth, Jennifer drove the bus, and Billie made sure Judy was safe and comfortable. Thank You to everyone who volunteered time to support this incredible cause!
