Full day of lectures & cadaveric labs, led by national leaders and innovators, including our own Drs. Chad Campion, Kirk Thompson and alumni, Dr. Catherine Olinger.

This week, we honored World Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day and celebrated the strength and resilience of children and families living with CP. Our Campbell Foundation-led Center of Excellence for Cerebral Palsy Research and Care gives patients access to vast medical treatments, therapeutic services, and support resources. It’s a labor of love and a partnership with fellow clinicians, experts and families. 💚

On September 26, the Zimmer Biomet Mobile Lab team hosted a Foundations course on Primary to Revision Total Hip Arthroplasty and Distal Femoral Replacement. Dr. Todd Selundiak and ZB staff facilitated the bio skills lab and trauma faculty led interactive case studies for >30 residents! Great experience for everyone (and super impressive driver who wedged that lab into our lot!)! .cosgrove_ortho_trauma

Linda, from your entire Campbell family – past, present, and future – congratulations on your retirement!

Since 1986, Linda Jones has shaped orthopaedic education in countless ways, supporting thousands of papers, presentations, and book chapters.
She has been involved in seven editions of Campbell’s Operative Orthopaedics as well as Campbell Orthopaedic Journal, Current Orthopaedic Practice, Foot and Ankle International, and Orthopedic Clinics of North America. In addition, she has mentored generations of surgeons, staff and researchers, placing trust and precision above all else.

As Foundation Editor since 2021, she has been a steady leader, a trusted partner, and a voice of reason. Her passion for producing quality information is second to none. More than a colleague, she is a confidante and an irreplaceable friend.

Linda retired on September 30, 2025, staying long enough to wrap up the 15th Edition of “the bible of orthopaedics,” Campbell’s Operative Orthopaedics!

UTHSC-Campbell Clinic Orthopaedic Surgery residents, faculty and partners hit the gorgeous Links at Audubon Park this weekend for the annual golf tourney. Scores don’t matter (much) but creating traditions and camaraderie do, right?! Congrats to all and thanks to Chair, Dr. Matt Wideman, PGY-4.
