is defined by as "a feeling of great pleasure and ". In Paul's letter to the church in 15:13, he writes, "May the of hope fill you with all joy & peace in faith so that you overflow with hope by the power of the ."
The difference here: "feeling" versus "being filled". Our are - they come and go based on our circumstances. When we are filled with, say 'relief', it is almost as if we are . We are so relieved by that unexpected check in the mail, or by our negative expectations being overturned by positive results - we are FILLED with such joy that nothing can touch us. As long as we are filled with that .
