At Tribute at Black Hill, we’re always excited to bring engaging culinary experiences to our residents.
In addition to the wonderful weekly action stations she offers, Chef Carmen celebrated Chinese New Year with a made-to-order fried rice station that was a huge hit! 🍚🔥 Residents enjoyed watching their meals prepared fresh to order, choosing their favorite additions to create the perfect bowl — from savory proteins to fresh veggies and flavorful seasonings.
The sizzling sounds, delicious aromas, and smiling faces made it such a special experience for everyone. We love creating moments that are not only delicious but also interactive and fun!

Sweet moments and even sweeter smiles 🍒
Residents had a wonderful time making a classic favorite — cherry dump cake topped with fluffy whipped cream. From mixing and baking to adding that perfect finishing touch, it was an afternoon filled with laughter, delicious aromas, and proud bakers all around.
There’s nothing better than sharing homemade treats and creating memories together. ❤️

We are honored to celebrate, Bernice Parker, Memory Care Coordinator who has been with Tribute at Black Hill four years this month. Originally from Ghana, West Africa her roots shaped her compassion, resilience, and deep respect for caring for elders.

Career Journey:
Bernice's passion for nursing began when her grandfather was hospitalized and she cared for him for a year through surgery and rehabilitation. That experience showed Bernice the true impact of compassionate, patient-centered care.
Over the past four years at Tribute at Black Hill, she has grown as a nurse and Memory Care Coordinator, strengthening her leadership skills while advocating for residents and supporting families.

Future Aspirations:
Bernice's goal is to continue growing as a healthcare professional and serve those most in need. She wants to provide accessible, compassionate, and dignified care to vulnerable individuals and families. Making a difference, one resident, one family, one team member at a time , remains her greatest purpose.

Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us at Tribute at Black Hill Assisted Living!

Our Valentine’s brunch was absolutely amazing — so much fun and filled with lots of delicious food! Residents enjoyed a beautiful atmosphere, wonderful company, and plenty of sweet treats alongside their families and our incredible team.

Our residents here at Tribute absolutely love getting up close and personal with the amazing animals that Echoes of Nature brings to visit! 🐢🦎 Animal visits always bring so many smiles, laughs, and sweet memories.

Today they had the chance to spend time with a gecko and a turtle, just to name a few of our special guests! Experiences like these spark conversation, curiosity, and pure joy for everyone involved. 💚
