Monarch Pediatrics formerly Yukon Clinic Your small town feel pediatric office at the edge of East Memphis and Germantown The Yukon Clinic was opened in 1972 by Dr. Gordon Yukon.

It remained a solo practice until 1995 when Dr. Charles Yukon joined his father after completion of his residency in Tampa, Florida. After Dr. Gordon Yukon retired in 2005, Dr. Charles ran a solo practice for 2 years. Dr. Catherine Chidester joined the practice full-time in 2007 after completion of her residency at Lebonheur. The Yukon Clinic in Germantown is a unique pediatric office. The vision of the practice has always been a small-town practice in a large city. The practice only has 2 doctors and 4 other employees and they all wear different hats. A nurse or doctor answers the phone calls and makes appointments. The practice runs very efficiently with very little waiting time for patients. However, our patients never feel rushed at their appointments with the doctor. The patients and staff enjoy the small practice atmosphere and the continuity of care that such a practice allows.

Happy 1 year Monarch anniversary to our amazing Haylea! We are finally updating our website and social media. She is accepting patients ages 5 and under! Haylea Echols, DNP, CPNP-BC

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Haylea Echols grew up in Germantown, TN and is proud to call Memphis home. She attended Houston High School and graduated with her Bachelor’s in Science of Nursing from the University of Memphis in 2015. She returned to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center to complete her Doctorate in Pediatric Nurse Practitioning in 2022. Haylea has a passion for children of all ages and focuses on individualized, holistic care for patients and families. She enjoys downtime with her husband, two kids and pup. She is an avid reader, jigsaw puzzler and loves music of all genres.

Haylea is accepting transfer patients aged 5 and younger, as well as siblings of those 5 and younger. She also is our behavioral health specialist and can help with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Depression, and Anxiety.
