Remember that childhood snack you used to crave? Toast with cinnamon sugar, cheese, and crackers, or maybe cereal straight from the box. Make it again exactly how you did back then. Sit down and eat it like it's the best thing in the world. Sometimes comfort just needs revisiting.

Give yourself an hour of quiet. Silence every app and let your brain breathe. At first, it will feel strange, but stay with it. Notice how quickly your thoughts slow down when nothing demands your attention. You might realize how much noise youโve been carrying. That small act of control can feel surprisingly freeing.

Happy New Year from FYZICAL Germantown!
โMaybe this year... we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives not looking for flaws, but for potential.โ โ Ellen Goodman

Days can feel non-stop, and giving yourself a break with something small and sweet is a great idea. Grab your favorite snack and enjoy it without distractions. Focus on the pause and stay in that moment. A short break gives your brain time to reset. Plus, a little sweetness makes it easier to keep moving. Sometimes all it takes to recharge a bit is a peaceful moment with something you like.

๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด '๐๐น๐ณ๐'?
The holiday season can be so frantic, so it's wonderful to have a day of chilled-out movie watching to feel re-set and boost your mental 'elf'!
โThe best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.โ
From 'It's a Wonderful Life' to 'Elf' to 'Die Hard', there really is a holiday movie for everyone. What's your festive favorite?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right? Some sweaters only a grandmother could love though! They may not be the most stylish, but you can't deny their incredible warmth and coziness.
Sure to bring a smile to the face of all who wear or see them, at FYZICAL Germantown we love an ugly sweater. If they have jingly bells, musical pushbuttons or flashing lights all the better.

Step outside and listen to the music that surrounds you. Nature has a way of slowing us down. If you canโt get outdoors, listen to a recording of your favorite nature sound. Shift your focus to the sounds for a few minutes. Let them replace the usual noise of everyday life. Itโs a great reset that clears your head and brings some calm into your Friday.

Your shoulders carry more tension than you think. Stand up. Roll your shoulders. Touch your toes if you can. A two-minute stretch can help, especially if youโve been sitting for hours. Taking a moment for this can improve your day. Try to realize how much lighter you feel after even a short stretch. Itโs a quick reminder that your body works hard for you every day.

It feels good when someone notices your effort. Give that same feeling back today. Think of someone who did something great this week and then actually tell them. Muster the courage to say it face-to-face. Their reactions will make it all worth it. Celebrating others doesnโt take much time, but it makes both of you feel better. Their win becomes your chance to spread some encouragement.

At FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers of Germantown, our goal is to provide individualized and custom physical therapy care that addresses the whole patient. A patient is never just a body part but a person with emotions, pain, fears and beliefs.
Our doors officially opened in December 2017 in Germantown, MD. However, we have been caring for patients and serving the Montgomery County area for more than five years. Over the years, we have experienced and learned how to effectively care for patients through an individualized approach and a common set of values shared by all of our staff.
WHAT HAPPENED TO PRIMARY PHYSICAL THERAPY?
In order to provide our patients and our community with the highest standards of physical therapy and wellness services, we have partnered with a group of independent physical therapy clinics called FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers.
By joining with FYZICAL, we are able to offer a state-of-the-art balance, dizziness, and fall prevention program. Our expanded treatment options will help patients with age-related balance problems, athletes with concussions, and those with acute balance conditions like vertigo.
We now have equipment and expertise that typically only large medical centers offer. FYZICAL provides physical therapy, balance treatment, and medical fitness programs in 36 states, and the number is growing.
Although we have a new look and logo, our core values and care remain the same. A large corporation has not and will not be taking over or dictating our treatment approach.
We will still be Primary Physical Therapy, but doing business as FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Center of Germantown.
