We offer specialized treatment programs for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation and orthopedic injury as well as other injury and illness. Our rehabilitation programs are centered around the individual needs of each patient to improve health, function and quality of life. Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities differ fro

m other post-acute options most notably in the amount of therapy offered and medical oversight provided. We offer specialized therapy, rehab-trained nursing care, rehabilitation physician involvement and disease state management tailored to our patient population. Our patients receive at least 3 hours of therapy at least 5 days each week.

On our third day of celebrating Nurses Week, we are excited to shine the spotlight on Nneka Daniels, RN.
Nneka is both BLS and ACLS certified and came to BMRH with a strong background in med-surg and telemetry nursing. She is known for her calm demeanor, strong clinical judgment, and compassionate approach to patient care.
Nneka enjoys working with diverse patient populations and takes great pride in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, exploring new places, and trying new foods.

As Nurses Week continues, today we would like to recognize Oralia Cavazos, RN.
This Nurses Week is especially meaningful for Oralia as she celebrates her first year as a Registered Nurse. She is ACLS certified and passionate about providing hands-on patient care, taking the time to truly get to know each of her patients.
Outside of work, Oralia enjoys Pilates, discovering healthy sweet treats, and spending quality time with her family. Looking ahead, she hopes to one day return to school to pursue her master’s degree in education.

As we kick off our celebration of Nurses Week, we want to recognize some truly special members of our nursing team.
Today, we are proud to spotlight Leelavathy Poobhathiraja, RN. Leelavathy brings over 22 years of nursing experience and is both BLS and ACLS certified.
When asked to tell us a little about herself, Leelavathy shared with a smile, “I’m addicted to… not coffee, but to my patients’ blessings.”
