Our residents traveled back to the golden age of comedy yesterday afternoon for a live presentation of "๐ƒ๐ž๐š๐ซ ๐†๐ž๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ž: ๐€ ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐€๐๐ฏ๐ข๐œ๐ž." ๐Ÿ‘“๐ŸŽ™๐Ÿ‘’
โ€‹To bring the legendary George Burns to life, our very own "๐†๐ž๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ž" made a special appearance in the iconic red sweater, round glasses, and (fake) cigar to "answer" letters from Georgeโ€™s famous book. ๐Ÿงฃ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ’จ

โ€‹The highlight of the afternoon was having our very own resident "๐†๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ข๐ž" join in to read the letters aloud, recreating the wit and charm of one of historyโ€™s favorite duos. ๐Ÿ‘”๐Ÿ‘—

The Civility Team of Transitions Healthcare Gettysburg has been asking staff to make a valentine every February since 2005. These lovely works of art are put up for display on our bulletin boards for all to enjoy. ๐Ÿ’Œ
When Valentine's Day approaches, each card is given a number and a drawing is held. The lucky number that gets picked wins a fabulous gift basket put together by the Civility Team. It consists of sparkling cider, chocolates, bath oils, lotion and other wonderful goodies for you and your sweetheart.

Another item this amazing gift basket contains is a $50 restaurant gift card. This year, we were able to give away TWO fabulous baskets packed full of gifts!! Our second prize winner also received a $25 gift card.
