Stay hydrated and yes, cutting the grass CAN wait! It's a good idea to alternate between water and electrolyte drinks. Hydration is especially important as we age, since our bodies handle heat differently (yay, another benefit of aging).

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Daniel Wood will be joining Gettysburg Chiropractic starting September 3rd. Dr. Wood is a Gettysburg area native and a graduate of Biglerville HS. He earned his Bachelor's of Science degree from Messiah College and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northeast College of Health Sciences.

Dr. Sheahan is excited for the help, as it has been a long year while he's searched for the ideal candidate to join the practice.

We have appreciated your cooperation, and at times patience, while Dr. Sheahan did his best to operate a two doctor clinic as a solo.

Dr. Sheahan's surgery went well. He's up and walking a bit evey hour (on the hour). More post-surgical swelling that anticipated, but time heals all wounds.

Dr. Sheahan is having some minor surgery today. This is related to his CIDP, but fortunately a si milar procedure, 3 years ago, had excellent results. If goes as planned, he'll be up and walking very quickly (and hopefully pain free). The timing was set up to coincide with his vacation time next week (for extra recovery time), so the office will be closed until April 1st (no joke!)

Update: Surgery postponed to Friday. Surgron was running late with earlier surgeries, so Dr. Sheahan got bumped.
