May mental health minutes:
2025: almost 1/2 through, which leads me to think about the old saying “Life goes by in the blink of an eye” or something like that.
When I think of time, especially of my kids growing up fast, I am reminded of the tool of “being present”.
So often we want the right photo🤳,hurry 🏃🏻♀️to the event we forget to feel the present moment.
Next time you feel rushed, anxious or that life is passing by too quickly.. try some mindfulness ( its a repeat skill but always a good reminder).
- Take a breath, look around using senses.
- what do you see 👀, hear 👂, smell 👃, feel 🥹 and touch ✋
- resist urge to “capture” the moment, just experience it.
Life happens when we are busy planning.
We deserve to enjoy every second and time will slow down when we do.
We are worth it! 🥰
