For those who haven’t been in for the past few weeks i wanted to update you here. In case youv’e been meaning to get in, the time is now.

I’ll be taking an unknown length of pause from massage therapy end of July, final booking day is July 27th.

I will no longer accept new clients unless they are redeeming unused gift certificates.

Thank you all SO much for such an incredible 12 years! Hope to see you before i pause.

A recent article about massage and it having positive effects on mental health, not just the physical body.

With these past few years of uncertainty, stress and mental health have been impacted greatly.

We are not meant to withstand this amount of time in the fight or flight response, so if things have felt harder, coping is harder, communicating is harder, heck being motivated to brush your teeth. Get some much needed TLC and book a massage, or a Mental Health Therapist/Counselor.

The time has come to take massage seriously as a mental health intervention.

I’m a few days delayed with this, but Belly Mama is 3!

I was scared, nervous, and unsure if i should start my own practice. I had worked for someone else most of my career and the stable paycheck was attractive.

I took the leap and dove in, not sure what would come of it. Was this a career ending move, was it smart? Was it the right time? Was i ready?!

When i opened my practice i had no idea the challenges ahead. The start up costs, not having a steady flow of income, learning how to find clients, no clue how to do marketing, all the administration work i had to learn, and lets not talk about my awkward phone skills.

The biggest thing though, Belly Mama was able to survive a pandemic, one that shut down many businesses that have been open for decades.

That is where you come in, my dedicated, loyal clients. So thank you!! Thank you all so much for spending your hard earned money getting massages from me. You are seriously the BEST!
