The smell of warm cookies and the sound of laughter filled the halls, thanks to our Clare Bridge Programs Assistant Caroline and our incredible Care Partner Angie! Together, they led a heartwarming baking program that had residents rolling dough, sharing stories, and, of course, sneaking a few chocolate chips! 😉

It wasn't just about cookies - it was about connection, creativity, and the simple joy of making something sweet, together! Caroline brings such fresh energy and heart to our community, and we're so excited for all the meaningful moments she's already creating with our residents.

Here's to many more batches of joy ahead!

When the summer heat rolls in, our amazing Executive Director Angie rolls up her sleeves and gets behind the bar (the mocktail bar, that is)! She served up cool, refreshing drinks and an even cooler vibe for our residents - because here, connection and care are always on the menu.

From tropical fruit fusions to classic citrus blends, each sip was served with a side of joy, laughter and a lot of heat! ❤️

Evan got a special surprise for his birthday! Kristina's husband, Steve, dropped by with his truck, Evan said, "You don't want me to drive it do ya?" Evan drove Peterbilt trucks for much of his working life, and enjoyed chatting with Steve about the differences between the trucks he used to drive and Steve's!

Thank you to one of our Care Partners, Kim, for making this resident's idea come to life!

One day, while we were out for our Walking Club, one of our residents was on the hunt for the "perfect rock" to paint for their grandchild! So, we all gathered a few rocks and cleaned them, and then Kim led them in painting them! Next, we will be adding kind words to each rock to take with us on our walks to spread small acts of kindness to the Gig Harbor community!!
