Today kicks off National Rehabilitation Awareness Week (Sept. 15-21) 2025! 🎉

In addition to our skilled nursing and long-term care services, each Life Care Centers of America facility also offers on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Over the years, our therapy teams across the nation have helped thousands of seniors improve function and mobility.

Living with Parkinson's disease left Jeanette in need of therapeutic intervention, so she came to us for help in regaining function and mobility.

When she came to us, she was unable to walk, dressed herself, get in or out of bed or even roll over in bed. Our team of physical and occupational therapists put together a plan to help her get back on her feet and overcome many of her Parkinson's symptoms. And now, she only needs setup assistance for her daily self-care tasks and supervision with walking. 🎉

"I could not have done it without the amazing ladies depicted in the photo," Jeanette shared. "They motivated me to speak up and work hard every day." 😄
