CTI is a therapist owned pediatric Occupational Therapy clinic that provides evaluation and treatment for children ages birth to adolescence. CTI provides a wide variety of services to our pediatric clients and their families. Goals are individualized for each client, but the aim for all is to improve children's abilities for the 'occupations' of school, play, and family life. At CTI we value relationships, support, and quality in a fun environment. When we work together we learn from each other, which is in turn energizing. We are a joyful place that cares for our kids and families like they are one of our own. It is no accident that our team is great as not only do we encourage each other's growth, we encourage creativity and innovation to make our place like no other.

Turning treats into skills 🎄🍦✨

Decorating an ice cream cone holiday tree with frosting and sweet toppings is more than festive fun, it’s occupational therapy in disguise!

This activity helps build:
• 🎯 Fine motor skills (squeezing, pinching, placing)
• ✋ Hand strength & coordination
• 👀 Visual–motor integration
• 🧠 Planning & sequencing
• 😋 Sensory exploration and tolerance
And the best part? The kids are so engaged they don’t even realize they’re working hard 💚

Learning through play is always sweet around here! 🍬🎄

✨ SALT ART MAGIC ✨
Today’s OT session turned into a full-on creative masterpiece! 🎨🧂

Our kiddo walked through each step of the salt-art process — squeezing glue, sprinkling salt, watching colors spread, and making their artwork come to life. The best part? They were building BIG skills while having BIG fun! 💪😄

🌈 Skills we’re supporting through salt art:
• Fine motor strength & precision
• Bilateral coordination
• Visual-motor integration
• Sensory exploration
• Creativity & confidence

Watching kids light up when their art moves and changes is one of our favorite OT moments. 💛

Keep creating, keep exploring, keep growing! ✨

🍓🍌 Fruit Avalanche fun in the OT gym! 🍊🍇

Our kiddo is working hard and having a blast, all while laying on her tummy to boost core strength and postural endurance.

✨ Skills we’re building through play:
• Core + upper body strength (tummy time isn’t just for babies!)
• Visual motor skills to track and grab falling fruit
• Fine motor control and precision
• Impulse control & waiting for the right moment
• Problem solving and motor planning
• Social skills like turn-taking and good sportsmanship

Play with purpose, our favorite kind. 💛

✨YELLOW SLIME TIME!✨
Slime isn’t just fun—it’s therapeutic! 💛
Today we worked on:
👉 Tactile exploration
👉 Hand strength & bilateral coordination
👉 Emotional regulation through sensory play
👉 Following multi-step directions

Sensory play supports the nervous system and helps kiddos stay regulated while building important fine motor skills. 👐💛

❄️ “Do you wanna build a snowman?” 🍎🥕⛄️
Today we brought Frozen fun to feeding therapy! Our little OT friend created Olaf using different food items — exploring textures, smells, and tastes through play. Food exploration helps kids feel more comfortable around new foods and makes mealtime fun! 💙✨
