Wondering if your child’s struggles are ‘normal’ or a sign they need extra support? 🚩You’re not alone—many parents miss early red flags because they just don’t know what to look for.

Here’s the truth: Waiting to ‘see if they grow out of it’ can delay progress. If you’ve noticed:

1️⃣ Speech/Communication: Fewer than 10 words by 18 months OR no babbling by 12 months.

2️⃣ Social Skills: Rare eye contact, doesn’t respond to their name, or ignores other children.

3️⃣ Movement: Trouble climbing stairs, holding a spoon, or frequent tripping by age 2.

4️⃣ Sensory Sensitivity: Meltdowns over tags, loud sounds, or textures (e.g., hates messy play).

5️⃣ Behavior: No pretend play (e.g., feeding dolls), extreme rigidity, or hours-long tantrums.
