The Modern Body Clinic grew largely out of the need to improve the health in individuals by treating the “whole patient”

With our “360 degree” approach, The Modern Body Clinic acknowledges that being healthy is a significant if not the most important difference when it comes to looking and feeling our best. Our goal is to help all of our clients to create more success in all areas of their lives through a solid foundation in health and wellness.

At Modern Body Clinic we believe that a successful life begins with health. When you are healthy and fit, your body and mind work together to resist illness and support your life goals.

Modern Body Clinic was established by Dr. Mark Carter, a medical internist with more than 12 years of experience helping people to not only look but to feel their best. Dr. Carter grew up near Pasadeña, CA and graduated from UCLA School of Medicine in 2001. He completed his residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He has been practicing medicine in Phoenix since 2004. With a background in nutrition and physical fitness, along with his experience with youth outreach programs, Dr. Carter has developed a unique insight into the challenges of weight loss and obesity in today’s culture. The Modern Body Clinic understands the essential connection between one’s state of health and all other aspects of one’s life and has a mission to help people develop healthy, happy bodies to improve all aspects of their lives.

The team at Modern Body Clinic is known for their caring, attentive focus on the whole patient. With state of the art technology and the most up to date research and weight loss methods the Modern Body Clinic gets to the heart of what you are dealing with and the challenges you face with your weight. Therefore, we can ensure that you have a customized, comprehensive treatment plan.
