As Down Syndrome Awareness Month comes to a close, weāre reminded that awareness is all about creating a world where everyone is seen, supported, and included. š
Down Syndrome is the most common chromosomal condition in the U.S., with about 1 in every 700 babies born with it. Today, more than 400,000 people in the U.S. are living, learning, working, and thriving with Down Syndrome.
From graduating college to living independently, individuals with Down Syndrome continue to show the power of possibility when inclusion and opportunity come together.
