We had a fantastic turnout at our monthly Veterans Coffee, Donuts, and Camaraderie social! ☕🍩

It was a morning filled with great stories, plenty of laughs, and meaningful connections. There’s something special about bringing veterans together to share experiences, support one another, and strengthen the bonds that unite us.

Wednesday vibes…

We had gents relaxing with the morning paper, while Ric and our awesome volunteer Jayce enjoyed their weekly chess match ♟️. Up in the loft, a friendly (and slightly competitive 😉) billiards match kept the cues clicking 🎱.
The 4 Corner crew kept things lively with a competitive game of Rummikub, and our Wii bowlers were bringing the heat 🎳 — Ira even bowled a turkey! 🦃👏

To top it all off, residents enjoyed a delicious chocolate treat while sharing laughs and great conversation at our afternoon “Social Bites”. Life is GOOD!!! 💛

We hosted our very own Minute to Win It Winter Olympics here at The Oaks this afternoon! ❄️🏅

Our residents took on the slopes as they “skied” down hills, Zamboni’d the ice, built moguls, and even fixed the tow rope. The laughter, teamwork, and playful competition made for an unforgettable day.

We celebrated Lunar New Year in style! 🧧✨

This year, we served authentic traditional Vietnamese dishes including Bánh Chưng, Bánh Tét, and Bánh Chuối. Each of these special foods carries deep cultural meaning — symbolizing the Earth and the Sun, family unity, prosperity, and gratitude to our ancestors.

It was a wonderful way to honor tradition, share culture, and come together in celebration. 🌏🌞❤️
