✨ Staff Spotlight: Shining a light on the heart behind our care!

Meet Jeff Newton our wonderful Hospice Chaplain, who provides spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families during end-of-life care. With a compassionate presence, active listening, prayer, and scripture, he brings the love of Jesus to those in his care and continues to walk alongside families through our 13-week bereavement program. Born in Indiana and a longtime Arizona resident since 1960, he has been married to his high school sweetheart, Linda, for 48 years; together they share one son, two grandkids, and their beloved dog, Shadow. With a background that includes 28 years in real estate, his path to hospice care began after eight years of volunteering as a hospital chaplain. It was during that time a friend recognized his calling and encouraged him to step into hospice ministry—a role he has now served in for nearly five years. For him, the most meaningful part of being a chaplain is the privilege of walking alongside patients and families during such a sacred time, offering comfort, guidance, and the peace of Christ, while also being inspired daily by the dedication of the nurses and staff he serves alongside.
